Sure, it’s not all that hard to get up out of your chair and walk around indoors. But the draw of gorgeous spring weather will make it much easier to actually want to get up and get moving. You may even want to move your daily exercise routine to the patio, porch, or courtyard.

You can get vitamin D from the sun. But make sure you’re always protected from the sun’s harmful rays. Sunglasses, high SPF sunscreen and lip balm, and the appropriate clothing should be used. Consider some kind of wide-brimmed breathable hat to keep the sun off your head and neck, too.

Winter is too cold, and summer may be too hot for some, particularly in the golden years. In spring, you get “Goldilocks” weather – not too cold, not too hot, but just right.

Though truly clean air may be a problem in your vicinity, depending on where you live, hopefully, you’ll be able to enjoy the fresh air of spring. Breathe deeply.
