What can be better than doing an Easter Egg Hunt to celebrate Easter? Some families make use of real dyed eggs, while some use plastic eggs filled with chocolate or candy. Don’t fill egg containers with non-edible items such as stickers or erasers as some children might assume it is candy and start eating it. If you are using plastic eggs, make sure to make them shut properly so the candy will not fall onto the ground.
While choosing Easter candy, quantity matters more to them than quality. The more candy they find, the more exciting it will be for them. So don’t waste money on the gourmet treats, go for inexpensive favorites such as small chocolates, jelly beans and gummy animals. Take note to not hide your eggs too early in advance in case it starts to rain.
Craft And Games
Try doing some crafts and games! All you need is some coloring books or maybe a finger painting station. Buy some paints and paper for the grandchildren to unleash their creativity. Search online for some fun crafts for the whole family to do. Try creating bunny paper plates or maybe a peep house. To change things up, have a classic Easter movie play in the background too! Those who are bored will have something for them to watch and it adds a nice festive element to the home. We recommend watching Peter Cottontail (2006) or It’s The Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown (1974). To go above and beyond, take the little ones to the theatre to catch a new movie that is coming out.
