I just started working here and the staff has been so welcoming. But then I see how the treat the residents here and it shouldn’t have been a shock. Everybody that works here truly cares about the residents which is really awesome to be a part of!

Discovery VILLAGE at Tampa Palms is a wonderful place. I had my dad go there and the staff were excellentThe treated my dad and other residents like family. The place is very nicely decorated , and the activities and food are great. The staff are so warm and welcoming.

I just want to say how terrific the staff is at Discovery Village. My mom has been in the Memory Care section of this community for six years and has enjoyed every moment of it. As her advocate, I see how caring the staff is toward their residents, the cleanliness, the activities, the empathy, the compassion and knowledge that these employees pass on to the residents. If you are looking for a community for your loved one, please give Discovery Village a look, it will be well worth you time, trust me, I see it every week……..

My mother recently passed away peacefully at 93. She had been in the Memory Care unit since January '23, previously was in the assisted living from August of '22. As anyone does, I felt a great responsibility in making the decision to move her from her independent living home to Discovery Village in August 2022. My fears were misplaced!In every respect, Discovery Village outperformed any expectations I might have had. I was routinely struck by the compassion and sincerity of the care from all levels of staff. They went out of their way to provide her with care, and were always accessible and responsive to my inquiries. Both Nursing Directors, and the Memory Care Director were outstanding in their efforts to connect me with developments in my mother's condition. When she moved to the Memory Care unit, I cannot count the number of times the Memory Care Director texted me pictures of my mother engaged in some activity. When I visited, I was always struck by the little things that gave indication of the care and attention to detail; how her hair was always neatly groomed, nails done, neatly dressed. I was always impressed at the number of times staff would just drop in to say hello, or give her a hug, or take time out to tell me how much they cared for her. My lasting impression will be how she was treated in her last days, how I found her in bed neatly tucked in, always with one of her beloved stuffed animals in her arms, and a peaceful smile on her face. I will be forever grateful to Angeline, Virginia, Viv and the entire staff of Discovery Village for the peace they granted my mother-and myself.

Discovery Village is an amazing place! My father has resided there for four months, and we have been overwhelmed by the kindness and love that is extended to residents as well as family members. From day one, we were warmly welcomed by Angeline and her very talented and compassionate staff. They helped my father make a smooth transition to his new community and ensured that his needs were being met. Time is taken to answer any questions we may have, and I have found the staff to always be knowledgeable and patient, which is greatly appreciated.We have been impressed with the variety of activities that are offered to the residents as well as special events such as the Grandparent's Day celebration last weekend. It was so lovely and such care was taken to provide a very meaningful experience for the residents and families. The food and entertainment were incredible, and our family loved the photo booth with colorful props-such a great memory for us! Most of all, I appreciate how the staff is genuinely kind and caring with all of the residents. They display this on a daily basis and work very hard to make each day a positive experience for all!

Angeline is a marvelous executive director. She is fully involved visible and approachable. Discovery Village shines because of it. Vivi, the memory care director, is passionate about the care her residents receive. The staff she hires are amazing. The unit is kept so clean and the garden area is beautiful and tranquil. My mom was in the memory care unit for over a year. She received wonderful, personalized care. I always felt welcomed. It will forever mean so much to me.

I love this community because there are so many friendly people here. The staff is always willing to help you. I love all of the animal incorporated activities,I'm an animal lover . The dining room staff are the most hardworking, Jose makes living here an wonderful experience. TC is a rockstar!

Linda is a resident of Discovery Village at Tampa PaIms. She is now in memory care. I am very pleased with the staff and how they treat their guests. They are extremely helpful and patient. When I go to visit they greet me by name with a smile. I feel she is receiving the best possible care.

In my 10 months here at Discovery Village at Tampa Palms I have found the community to be very friendly, both staff and residents. I have been impressed with the facility since first walking into the entry lobby. An elegant atmosphere was experienced which was present throughout the building. Since living here, I have found the staff to be very attentive and competent. When considering Discovery Village, I met with Makaela Sgueglia, a delightful sales counselor. She gave me a personal, customized tour an accommodated all of my requests. Soon after moving in, a new Executive Director joined us. Angeline Hernandez is an effective leader who focuses on frequent communication with residents and staff. Concerns addressed to her are acted upon swiftly with good solutions. The Activity staff headed by Rebecca Zuniga schedules activities that provide ample events for residents to enjoy.

We moved in 3 weeks ago and it was the best decision! Although I am still working, my husband has retired and needs assostance in some activities of daily living. The "Supervised Independent Living" option at Discovery Village is a perfect fit for us. Honestly, the staff is there whenever we need them but makes sure to give us our independence. I recommend it highly!

I've lived at Discovery Village @ Tampa Palms since August of 2022. The entire staff is accommodating, knowledgeable and very nice. There are many activities and things to do. I've made good friends here and it feels like home!

My Mom has lived at Discovery Village Tampa Palms since the beginning.She is happy and myself and sisters have been pleased with the care she gets.The staff is well trained, courteous, and does a great job.We moved Mom last week from independent living to assisted living. Makaela was very helpful in making the move so easy and stress free!!

Just moved my mother here a few days ago. Starting with the tour and the entire process to get her in, I am extremely pleased. We worked with Makaela who was a pleasure and responded to all of my questions and requests very quickly. Everyone that I have come in contact with has been very friendly and helpful. I have a number of friends and acquaintances who live at Discovery Village, so I am there often. The staff is attentive and they genuinely care for the residents. The facility is always clean and well-staffed. There are so many amazing employees there, doing the hard job of day-in-day-out care for the residents with love and compassion.

HEROS WORK HERE. This is a great place to work. Discovery Villages at Tampa Palm has a top notch memory care on site, hospice care and stress free living is all I see. In a luxurious condo setting with laundry, medication management and competent nurses who will call your family to detail all care needed.I am a 🧳 traveling CNA and work all over the State of Florida. This is truly my #1 FAVORITE PLACE to work. I would drive 100 miles to work for this company. The staff care about the residents 100%.The have a beautiful home, safe, organized with lots of activities. The dining area is beautiful food and is prepared by an in house Chef team and boy is it delicious. The apartments are spacious and there is no bad odors like other places I have traveled from Ocala to Port Charlotte. East and West and I have so many great things to say. Trust me when I say. Your money will be spent in knowing peace of mind and loving people work here.
