Honestly I have never seen such incredible people in one place before! From sales, thankyou Stephanie, to concierge, thank you Cathy, Colleen, Jill and Proferia and to all of the dining staff and Chef of course and management, thankyou Bob and Brooke. These folks make Discovery such a fantastic place to live. I think I will be here for a while. Especially since my sister will be moving here as well. So thank you to all of these wonderful people who make this such an awesome and beautiful place to live.

The meals at Discovery Village are well prepared and the menus offers a wide variety to choose, for breakfast lunch or dinner. The menu offer a choice of two entrees and a choice of desserts. The entrees range from down home southern cooking to Regional Gourmet. If it is not your Delight there's another menu that offers " anytime leisure meal" i.e. cheeseburger, chef salad.The amenities are the latest and next to none. The fitness rooms the library the theaters and the game rooms include the latest technology and variety of card games, chess, pool tables and ping pong tables. All rooms are adequately equipped with the latest equipment for example the fitness room has the latest treadmills with all the bells and whistles and also the exercise cycles and muscle strengthening equipment. There's always a choice of various games and plenty of activities and crafts including many puzzles to choose from.There are bible study groups that are also available led by experienced volunteer Bible facilitator/teachers and Sunday morning non-denominational church service. There are also special interest groups that one might want to join. Additionally, outside entertainment is brought in on a weekly basis, as well as health groups.The facility is well maintained and clean with operable equipment both in the Resident Apartments as well as the facilities as a whole. The floors, the walls, carpet and elevators including all corridors are kept well maintained.The dining room and activity rooms are all clean and spotless as the facility on a whole, with adequate seating for eating in the dining room and adequate lounge chairs in sitting areas. The grounds give you an atmosphere of Resort style of living with manicured Lawns, swimming pools, Cabanas with outdoor fireplaces and barbecues. In addition, the facility is strategically located in Lewisville nestled between Carrollton and the Colony Texas.The facility with all it has to offer ĥas a senior independent living facility would not be complete without a professional staff. Discovery Village Lewisville has an incomparable professional staff: the administration, maintenance and housekeeping, chefs and servers, sales and activities personnel all have the professional demeanor always " what can I do to help" with a smile that broadcast sincerity and care.Needless to say, I am happy and content to live in a facility like Discovery Village Lewisville, surrounded with happy and cheerful people.

Warm, friendly, professional staff. Great food, games, exercise classes, worship services, bible study, and very friendly residents. A beautiful facility, always clean. I love the fact that I don’t have to cook or clean anymore. I’m living my best life!!!

I have lived here two years and I thoroughly love the complex. Everyone is extremely friendly including staff and all employees. I enjoy the dining room and always can find something delicious on the menu provided to us.We have all sorts of events and things to do here--card games, board games, crafts, discussions, special speakers, reiigious events! Its a wonderful community!

Can't say enough about our experience so far with Discovery Village at Castle Hills. We looked at 5 locations for independent living for my Dad. Nothing compares to the total package you have here. Upgraded apartment homes, fresh appliances, great value for the price with incredible room inside each unit. No corners cut, with fresh community areas, impeccable staff that shows longevity. When the staff is stable the residents benefit and it clearly shows. We live out of state and Dad was completing surgery but Lauren went the extra mile for us in every way. The one stop shop approach with housing, meals, entertainment activities, ON SITE physical and occupational therapy department, weekly on site doctor access, transportation and site ambassadors facilitate meeting new friends are an exceptional value to the residents. Brooke worked with our limited schedule to make the process so easy to navigate the process and Juan, Facility Maintenance Manager, shows amazing skill and pride in every detail he and his staff provide. Overall, a great experience and peace of mind in our family's decision.

Absolutely love this place! Took my mother-in-law there and could not get over how nice everyone on staff were. I loved the fact that so many of the staff have been there for many years.The facilities were like being in a 5-Star Hotel. We love the "all-inclusive" pricing that included all bills and meals. It makes it easy to just enjoy life. The food was wonderful...and we loved the restaurant approach. I would recommend Discovery Village at Castle Hills to anyone looking to make life a little easier, and meet new friends in a beautiful facility.Gigi

I have now lived at Discovery Village at Castle Hills in Lewisville Texas for over two months. Discovery Village is a 55+ apartment complex for active seniors. I really didn’t know what to expect but after looking at multiple options I decided on Discovery Village and I am so glad that I did. My wife is in long term memory care so we sold our house and I don’t like cooking for myself. Even though I am very active, I feel safe here which is important to me at 76 years old. The apartment is spacious and has a nice kitchen as well which is kind of funny since I eat all my meals in the dining room. It is so nice to have truly remarkable meals ordered from a plentiful menu and each entre made to my order. I like that there is Happy Hour at 4:00 daily which includes adult beverages. Housekeeping is included weekly. They even change the linens for me. The maintenance crew helps hang pictures besides responding almost immediately to any request. All I do is call the concierge and I can get any information I need and all the services I want. The swimming pool is heated year-round and the hot tub is amazing. They even have a water aerobics class. Also included are two gyms with up-to-date equipment and a full-time free trainer. There is also in house physical therapy. It has been so nice to be able to get my Covid shots here (not mandatory). I haven’t used it but there is transportation available at no cost. There are more activities going on than I can count and a full time activities director. All of the employees are wonderful from the cleaning staff to the servers in the dining room to the management and executive director. There is no aloofness here at all, everyone is very approachable. In short, I love it here.Another 9 months have passed. Totally delighted still 5 stars

My mom lived at Discovery Village for several years and we could not have been happier. The care and concern shown by all of the staff always impressed us. From the time you enter and are greeted at the front desk you will feel welcome and safe. It is a lively place, full of people interacting with conversation and laughter. It is also bright, elegantly decorated and extremely clean. The business office is professionally managed by outstanding, trustworthy people. And the food is incredible! It was a hard decision to make. I lived in Castle Hills about two miles from what I called “The Castle.” I always knew that if the day would come and I would need a senior living home that Discovery looked so charming. Well…the day came and my family and I started to check around. Discovery was soon to be found the right fit. I would still be close to my family and friends and soon meet many more people and found peace with my decision! I was amazed by all the opportunities that I would have and now do have! People who cared and understood….

My mom has been a resident here for a year. I toured a dozen places over a six month window, and am so happy we ended up choosing Discovery Village. Bob himself (the Executive Director), the concierge staff, events staff, fitness staff, chef and his team are all super friendly, all know my mom by name, and are just good people. The residents kind of mirror the personality, and they felt more welcoming when we were doing the tour, and not pretentious. The shared areas are well maintained, the exercise classes are great, and my mom love the entertainers that come in weekly. My mom had lived in a house for the prior 45 years and I gave it 50/50 odds she would like it, but she loves it and wants to get back to her complex as soon as she can when we have her for a day or a weekend. Feel very fortunate I kept looking until I found a place that just felt right.

My mom has lived here for 5 years. The care and concern shown by every staff member is more than I could ask. The food is delicious. The activities abundant. The maintenance staff superb. Receptionists kind and caring. The Director a genuinely good man. I highly recommend this independent living for your loved one.

My Mother has called Discovery Village “home” for the past 8 years and has truly loved it. Although she knew it was time to move in with family, she hated giving up her apartment. She made many friends and enjoyed visiting and baking goodies for all of them. Bob, the Executive Director, and all the staff are absolutely wonderful. They truly care for the residents and always have their best interest in mind. Our family felt very confident with the care and service that was offered and would highly recommend Discovery Village Castle Hills.

My wife Venita and I call this our home and we love our apartment and the residents and the staff is always happy to help you out if needed.Our management dose a excellent job meeting all of our needs.The food is well prepared and well worth the money and excellently served by out excellent Staff.We have lived here 6 years and looking forward to many more.Mr. Bob is the finest manger you will find any where in the Metro Plex.He goes the extra mile and will never let you down.He is truly a mans man.Our activity Director will keep you busy as you want to be.The facility meets all state safety and fire prevention meets all state Standards.The House keeping meets all of the needs you might have.All in All you will not find any other that can match what we have .

I love this place. My Uncle John (MacLean) has recently moved into Discovery Village earlier this year and has found everything we were hoping for. I have personally joined John for a number of visits, lunches, and walks about the premises. The facilities are spotlessly clean, beautiful, comprehensive, and well appointed. The staff is amazing, attentive, friendly, and professional. John is greeted by name by virtually all the staff, wherever we go. He has also made many acquaintances with the other residents.John's general disposition and health are improved, most likely due to the positive energy in Discovery Village. I have lived here for 4 years. My husband and I shopped around about 451 different places. We instantly fell in love with Stonebridge. It is just fantastic, we love it here.
