This was my first Crisis Care assignment at at facility/ALF. My assignment is usually in the client’s home.Every report that I previously received from my peers were negative, for working with your client in a facility.. The complaints/concerns were that on the night shift you could never find staff to ask questions or to ask for any assistance. They indicated that it looked like that all were tucked away somewhere.With that information in mind, I was a bit apprehensive when I was asked to come to this facility. However, I took the assessment. And did it with an open heart.I want to report of the excellent experience I had working with the staff that particular night.The Nurse came to me to introduce herself and to make sure I know where her office was. If I needed anything. She also passed by during the night, asking if I was ok. She also instructed the CNA staff to check with me to see if I needed help with moving the patient. They did indeed do that through the night.I was indeed impressed with the presence of the staff of this facility. We were all there for the care of that patient, and they demonstrated the mission of working to accomplish that.For that, I highly commend them.

Very happy with the care my husband received in the Memory Care unit at Discovery Village of Palm Beach Gardens where everyone is treated like family. I had interviewed 5 other facilities before I walked in Discovery and knew immediately this is where he should be. It was warm and welcoming and everyone spoke to me with a smile. I was there everyday of the two months my husband lived there, and the attention to his needs and daily care and responsiveness to my concerns was excellent! I highly recommend this senior living facility and my husband said the food was good!

I have worked hopefully enhancing the lives of seniors for a long time. Now fast forward I myself am a senior. I have not a doubt that the residents and staff at discovery villages in palm beach gardens are the best of the best and exactly where I should be and enjoying this time in my life.

This place is really special. You can feel the love and pride the employees have at this beautiful assisted living and memory care facility. Beverly gave us the best tour of the entire facility, made us feel welcome and cared for, and really showed us the quality of life that exists there. She is a huge asset to the community and sets the bar high for others to show up heart centered. Thank you Beverly! This is one of our top choices.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Discovery Senior Living's facility, and I must say that the appearance of the facility left a lasting impression. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was struck by the warm and inviting atmosphere.The exterior of the building is beautifully landscaped, creating a serene and welcoming environment. The attention to detail in the architecture and design is evident, with well-maintained gardens and outdoor seating areas that provide residents with a peaceful retreat.Upon entering the facility, I was impressed by the cleanliness and overall aesthetic. The interior design is thoughtfully done, combining elegance with functionality. The common areas are tastefully decorated, creating a comfortable and homelike atmosphere. The choice of colors and furnishings reflects a commitment to creating a space where residents can feel at ease.

My mother is in the Memory Care portion of the Alliance Towncenter location. It is a beautiful facility overall and the staff is top notch professionals! The Memory Care area is lovely and does not feel like an institution whatsoever; feels very homey. The resident-to-care staff ratio is excellent!! The resident rooms are thoroughly cleaned regularly and their laundry maintained. Meals are well prepared and balanced. The care staff interacts with my mother daily and have established their own playful interactions with her; it’s cute to watch. I personally have my mother on a weekly schedule to have her hairstyle maintained and the beautician texts me regularly with updates and says the loveliest comments about my mother. Warms my heart!! Then there’s Kim Ballard… if you have the pleasure of working with her and your loved one, you will be blessed. She takes the operations of Memory Care very serious and what’s in the best interest for your loved one. I am assured frequently via text messages that she is on top of medication changes/issues, training of staff (ie, oxygen usage) and situations specific to my mother’s condition. My mother has had to visit the ER twice during her short stay there so far and they are very quick to respond to medical concerns and notify you promptly. Bonus - Texas Harris Healthcare hospital is just up the street!

Discovery village in PBG is one of the nicest facilities I have stepped foot in. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, warm and friendly. The building itself is clean, well kept and aesthetically pleasing. The residents are kind and happy. If you are searching for a home for yourself or loved ones, Discovery village in PBG is it!

Two family members reside here….so we spend a lot of time at DV. Alex, the Exec Director of Discovery Village , knows his residents well and understands their needs. His upbeat, engaging personality makes everyone feel cared for. Alex is always out in the common areas visiting residents and staff.

At the most emotional time of my 94 year old father’s life, Discovery Village handled our decision making process with the utmost professional, experienced skill set to move my father in seamlessly with the best care and compassion. This extremely impressive, professional organization should be awarded the highest level of honor in its industry. I am incredibly grateful for the work they have done with my family.during this difficult time. Discovery village has not only the finest facility but also a truly professional empathetic staff to understand what it was going to take moving my 94 year old Father from his.highly Independent lifestyle to now what he calls a dream come true. After researching many of their industry’s competitors, Discovery Village clearly is the best in all categories.

I cannot begin to express how grateful we are for Discovery Village in Palm Beach Gardens, the assisted-living facility where my mother currently resides. From the moment we stepped foot into this beautiful facility, we knew it was the perfect place for her.Discovery Village truly has everything my mother needs, all within the confines of a stunning building. Her apartment is nothing short of a dream, with its open layout, clean and modern design, and even a lovely patio area. The fact that she has her own kitchen makes it feel like a home, allowing her to feel independent; while still having access to delicious and nutritious meals prepared by the talented staff; she loves the dining experiences at Discovery Village. Sensations is the on-site restaurant; there is also a cute bistro; they offer a variety of delectable options, making every mealtime a treat. She can also get snacks at any time. Meals can even be delivered to her apartment or she can do a “to-go” option.Cleanliness is an utmost importance to our family, and I must commend the staff for the cleanliness of my mother's apartment, as well as laundry service. They go above and beyond to ensure that it is meticulously maintained, giving her a sense of pride and comfort in her living space. The bathroom alone is so spacious, it feels like a luxury hotel suite.One of the standout aspects of Discovery Village is the incredible range of activities and amenities they offer. From the moment my mom wakes up, there is something exciting to look forward to; from daily yoga classes to keep her active and healthy, while happy hour and the bar provide opportunities for socializing and relaxation. She has a blast participating in bingo and trivia nights, always coming home with a smile on her face. The regular trips and scenic rides allow her to explore and enjoy the surrounding area, creating new memories along the way. There is also a hair salon, a beautiful library and gardens.On the medical side, Discovery Village has proven to be exceptional. Her care plan includes making sure she never misses a dosage of her medication, providing peace of mind for our entire family. They also go the extra mile by reminding her when it's time to eat, ensuring she maintains a healthy and regular meal schedule. The assistance they provide with her daily living activities is invaluable, giving her the confidence and support she needs to thrive. There are Registered Nurses and CNA’s on site at all times. She gets night checks so that any assistance she needs during the night is discretely and lovingly provided.What we think sets Discovery Village apart is the people. Every single staff member is kind, caring, and devoted to the well-being of the residents. They treat each resident with respect and dignity, going above and beyond to make this is a true home. As a family member, I have witnessed firsthand the compassion and genuine friendship the staff extends to both the residents and their families. It truly is heartwarming.The residents, they are nothing short of amazing too. The sense of community and camaraderie at Discovery Village is truly a sight to behold. Everyone is friendly, welcoming, and eager to make new friends. It warms my heart to see my mother surrounded by such wonderful individuals who have become a second family to her.In conclusion, Discovery Village in Palm Beach Gardens has exceeded all our expectations. From the beautiful building and apartment to the medical care, an incredible range of activities and amenities, this assisted-living facility has truly become my mother's home. The exceptional medical care, the kindness of the staff, and the amazing community of residents have all contributed to her happiness and well-being. I would like to take this time to say how wonderful of a place that Discovery Village is. I moved a former client to Discovery Village and Chris Ladue (Senior Lifestyle Counselor) made the transition a smooth one. Chris has a wonderful personality and is so positive and upbeat (he makes you feel welcomed)!! Chris was professional, caring and above all, Chris was a great listener. Chris took the time to listen to my client's needs and carefully advised how Discovery Village could meet those needs. Since moving my former client in at Discovery Village, it has been nothing but an AMAZING experience.My former client has been nothing but happy - he has been smiling from the day that he has moved in and continues to smile due to all the love and compassion received at Discovery. I have witnessed exceptional CUSTOMER SERVICE from all of the staff at Discovery Village from the Nursing Staff (Angela, Judith, Nurse M.) to Alfred in House Keeping and Orlando in Maintenance. Staff really goes above and beyond the call of duty when caring for the residents in the community.I have also had the pleasure of working with Beverly who works along with Chris Ladue - Chris and Beverly truly get the job done. I would also like to give praises to Alex Hernandez the Executive Director at Discovery Village. He walks around the building greeting all residents, making sure that they are ok and have what they need. Alex and Chris follow my sample principles - they treat individuals how they would want to be treated.Chris Ladue provided us with the option of having lunch in the dinning room while touring Discovery Village. This proved to be a wonderful idea as it gives the individual the chance to experience the ambience of the facility while being seated with other residents who live there. This provides an up close and personal experience that proves why Discovery Village is more than an Assisted Living Facility - It's a Community who feels that each and every resident is unique and special in their own way and they don't offer a cookie cutter approach to care. They cater to all residents on an individual basis making sure that they are receiving care specific to their individual needs.If you have an doubts about Discovery Village - Just contact Chris Ladue and have what I call "the magical tour" with him; you will thank me later :). I almost forgot to add - the building is also immaculate - It smells wonderful and the housekeeping staff do a wonderful job at keeping the place clean!If you are looking for a Person Centered facility - Discovery is your place! I would definitely refer Discovery Village at Palm Beach Gardens.

I have had the privilege of working for Discovery Village for three years now. From my first month working there, I noticed the work culture differed from what I had been use to. The management team is filled with genuine and humble humans! Promoting from within is a common practice and appreciation is showed often! The residents have always been warm and inviting. Most days, it’s my home away from home! We definitely are not perfect but there’s no where else I would rather be!

Discovery Village is a warm caring environment for my mom. I feel the staff truly tries to be caring and efficient. My mom has been there six years and everyone has gotten to know her and is friendly and caring. It is the perfect size for my mom and we all are glad she is where she is.

We were looking for a place for my mother to live as she needed independent living with some assistance. We toured numerous places in Wellington and Palm Beach Gardens. We were impressed with Discovery Village as it was safe, clean and everybody is so helpful and accommodating. They always have a schedule of activities available for all levels.

Both of my parents are in the Gardens memory care. I couldn’t be happier with the care they receive. Staff are friendly, caring and able. If my parents stay in their apartment, someone checks on them frequently making sure they’re ok, asking if they want to attend an activity or need any assistance. They are in separate apartments because one is in a wheelchair and the other uses a walker. It costs more but actually works for them. I am happy too because they live 5 minutes from me.

my wife and I were invited to stay at the PGA facility during hurricane IRMA because my mother-in-law is a resident. Firstly, the facility is built like a battleship...while IRMA was raging, we heard hardly a thing. the facility has a back-up generator, but thankfully, they didn't need to use it. we never lost air con or internet...the TV went out from time to time. We cannot say enough praise for the friendly, efficient, and highly professional staff. We were permitted to dine with the residents and there was a full menu of very tasty choices. there were movies, games, and plenty of other activities to take our mind off Irma. If I had a relative needing assistance in their later years, I would not hesitate for one moment to enroll them into Discovery Village PGA. Thank you so much for your kindness and professionalism throughout those stressful 2 days.
