My family and I were looking for an attractive and safe place for our 102 year old Mom, to call home. Discovery Village, assisted living building, was the perfect place for her. The amenities included everything that she would need to make her feel comfortable and happy. Denise McGowan took us for a tour, and walked us through the paperwork. We were very pleased with the entire process.

My experience at Discovery Village was eye opening. The facility is beautiful. The dining rooms, the pool, the ice cream and coffee area, and the individual rooms were all spotless and inviting. The staff that I met were all so friendly and helpful. You need to see it for yourself.

I have liked Discovery Village for many years. Starting at the Forum, and then Naples Discovery three years ago. It is just as nice as I remember and now we want to commend Discovery for keeping up the quality, the food, the service and all aspects of the "resort". Denise did an excellent job showing us around. She is a real pro.

When I walked into Discovery Village in Naples this morning, I did not realize I would walk out a resident. Your facility is above anything else I have visited, from the amenities to the cost. I signed up with Denise McGowan for a two-bedroom apartment.Denise was as professional as any agent with whom I have ever interacted. Her very high level of professionalism is what helped me make my decision. She explained all costs, amenities, and other aspects of Discovery Village with clarity and in a most knowledgeable way. Little wonder I signed for the apartment on the spot! Even though I felt, from the moment I walked into the Independent Living building, that this was the best I had seen, it was Denise's patience, understanding and invaluable assistance sealed the deal. After visiting several independent living communities, the moment I walked into Discovery and met with Denise, I knew I had found the perfect home for my mother. The building is beautiful, (and safe), the amenities are outstanding, the staff always ready to help. Mom felt at home the minute she moved in. I highly recommend Discovery to anyone looking for a senior living community.

My parents moved into DV Independent living apartments and they love it! The staff did such an awesome job taking care of the residents during the recent hurricane Ian. They voluntarily moved the furniture off of there patio and made sure the residents had food everyday and they never lost power. My parents felt very safe throughout the storm. It is a great place with good activities.

I came to Discovery Village Assisted Living in May of 2020, I do feel that administration listens to our concerns and I feel fortunate to have staff that have a serious commitment to service excellence and demonstratea caring attitude towards the residents. We have an active celebrations andrecreations department bringing internal and external opportunities. We are fortunate to have a fine chef who is innovative and provides us with a menu that is appetizing and healthy. All of the ancillary staff, drivers, concierges, nurses, caregivers, housekeepers, and the management departments are all committed to a high level of care in meeting residents needs.

After 2 full days of checking out Naples-area assisted living communities, my sisters & I chose Discovery Village for our mother. Staff was very friendly, attentive; the facility open, modern, & clean. The selection of meal choices was very good, as were activities to help newer residents make & keep friends. Our thanks to Mary Ann, Carla, Gina, and their extensive staff, particularly during Covid protocols & precautions.

Discovery took what could have been a very stressful situation for my mother and our family and made us all feel like we were home. After looking at properties in the area we found Discovery and had the pleasure of working with Denise and by the end of our visit we knew it was right but even more importantly Mom said she felt like she was with people from her home town! Everyone we met had a smile on and were so welcoming to my mother inviting her to come and join the community. Denise and her staff are obviously doing a great job!

I moved to Discovery Village at Naples brand new independent living campus two months ago. I am very impressed with this community. I am also quite impressed with our manager , Mr. Anthony Alongi, and his staff. If you want to be cared for by professional and highly experienced people this is the place to be. They truly listen and problem solve as needed. I must also thank Mr. Thomas Finer, the executive chef. He makes coming to dinner an event I always look forward to. Many thanks to all for treating me so well. I feel a warm welcome here. Everyday.

I have visited many assisted living communities in East Naples in hopes of finding the perfect place for my parents. Discovery Village is perfect. Gina is exceptional and very knowledgeable. She knows her business and understands the needs of finding the right place for each resident. The facility is so clean. The staff is very friendly. The location is also great as it's not too congested. Easy access to shopping within minutes. Indoor pool, outside areas to gather, and a brand new dog park next door. It's very obvious that Discovery Village is giving the best value and excellent care to their residents.

Gina was amazing showing us what Discovery Village has to offer. I love the fact that she states, 'We employees are guests in the homes of the residents here at Discovery Village'. She shows compassion and RESPECT for all the residents there. She is amongst the many wonderful compassionate people who make up Discovery Village!!! Outstanding job Gina!!!

I recently contacted the Sales Director, Gina Weiley at Discovery Village to inquire about services for my parents. She got back to me very quickly, gave me a very informative overview on the phone and we scheduled an appointment for me to see the facility. Upon my visit, the friendly receptionist was expecting me and Gina came out within 2 minutes. She gave me a tour of the facility and all the amenities and services as well as showing me a model apartment. It was a very thorough tour. Gina was able to answer all my questions and she greeted residents as we toured, and she was very informed the various levels of service and costs and floor plans. Residents seemed happy, and the place was immaculate. I will definitely bring my parents for a tour.

I'll start this review by saying that in the last 12 months, discovery has made MAJOR strides to ensure adequate staffing, additional training, and faster response times.We recently had to place an elderly loved one into assisted living. After placing her at another home here in Naples, she had not one but TWO falls. We realized we needed top notch care for her 24/7 that the other home could not provide.Fast forward to meeting with Gina, from discovery. From the moment we began to work with Gina, she showed what a stellar asset she is. When we discussed all our fears and worries, she took action to ensure we were at ease. For example, we know our loved one will still try to lift herself out of her bed, and is prone to falling. Gina suggested we get a special thick mat to place near the bed Incase our loved one goes rouge and tries to get up herself. It was the detail Gina puts into her work that really set her apart.Because our loved one has memory issues, we placed her in memory care. Emma, the head of administration, is an angel sent from heaven. She is knowledgeable, (future RN!) kind, innovative and compassionate. She personally provided her cell number to us! Her desire to go above and beyond in every interaction is notable. She is the gem of the staff and we are so delighted to have met her.Move in day was quick and easy (with movers!) and the staff was very accommodating.From A-Z this place has everything covered. I understand the previous reviewer concerns, but discovery has obviously made an enormous effort to rectify any previous discrepancies with staffing and care.

I have been to Discovery Village here in Naples several times to visit a friend. I am always delighted with the wide variety of entertainment offered and the superb food. The staff is always polite and welcoming, making everyone feel at home. It is definitely a family community. I have been to many such living communities, but nothing as delightful as this one.

The staff at Discovery Village are wonderful. Everyone there has gone out of their way to make my wife's transition easy, and to make her feel welcome and cared for. This caring and welcoming attitude is evident throughout the facility; from the Administrative Staff to Nursing and Housekeeping; as well as from the other Residents. The Maintenance Staff has been especially helpful in tailoring her apartment to her particular needs; and there are many activities to keep the Residents engaged. We are really pleased with our choice of Discovery Village. The Staff and Residents make it feel like a Community rather than an Institution.

I have been happily employed as a concierge at Discovery Village at Naples for the past 3 years. There are now a lot of new employees in place and we now are working well as a team. I take pride in what I have done for Discovery residents and will continue to work to give them the best of care.We recognize that this is the residents' home and work diligently to convey that feeling daily. I pride myself in making sure that residents' concerns and questions are always addressed in a timely manner.

I find Discovery Villages a wonderful place for residents and their needs. The Team here is very attentive and follows through with questions and concerns from food to medicine needs. The community is lovely and the apartments are nicely appointed with the comforts of home.

So far, we are very impressed with this new facility for my mother in law. They seem very professional and well staffed. The activities appear to be extensive. The facility is beautiful with small apartments, a beautiful dining area, open lobby with bar, game room, movie theater, indoor pool, ice cream parlor. Decorating is top notch and pricing is quite competitive. We worked with Victor who we found very helpful.
