Living at Discovery Villages independent living has allowed me to live on my own terms. I have everything I need yet I remain truly independent. I love the zero entry pool. I swim laps everyday. I have met some great people and developed great friendships. Thank you Discovery!

I had an opportunity to do a tour at Discovery Village in December 2023. I was met by Alyssa Monning, Director of Sales. She was so warm and welcoming. She exuded joy. I loved listening to her tell me about this amazing community. She was so passionate and I could tell she truly believes in this community and the lifestyle that it offers people. What was amazing was that there was a Christmas craft sale going on. It was a joy to see the residents engaging and having a wonderful time. The facility was very clean. Staff were all pleasant and seemed very happy. I stayed for lunch and the food was outstanding. 5 star! I will definitely refer my clients and others to Alyssa and Discovery Village!

My father recently moved into Discovery Village and it was the best thing for him. It is a beautiful community with outstanding services. The resident apartments are well maintained and very nice. My dad loves it!The staff are very courteous and helpful.The sales associate Alyssa was a pleasure to work with. She was available for questions and we never felt pressured to make a decision. The most amazing and attentive staff. We recently had the pleasure of touring Discovery Village at Naples. We were very impressed with Denise and all of the amenities and activities available. Denise gave us an in-depth tour and view of all Discovery Village has to offer, from gourmet dining, a beautiful swimming pool, the gym, a theater as well as numerous activities. The independent living apartments were spacious and more than ample for our needs. Denise was extremely informative and answered all of our questions in a patient and knowledgeable way. We are seriously considering becoming residents in the not too distant future.

Wonderful experiences each time mom and I toured this independent living resort. I call it a resort because that’s how it feels there. It’s upscale, classy and there’s a ton of things to do. Denise was wonderful! She is very knowledgeable and professional. The rooms are big and bright. I like the layout of the main floor, where all the activities and services are located off the main hallway making it easy for people who live there to navigate the place. If you’re looking for independent living in Naples, I highly recommend Discovery Village.

Our initial familiarization with D.V. was from Steve and Beth Schoof who moved here about 1 1/2 years ago. Their enthusiasm peeked our interest.We then visited D.V. on two occasions with a women's group from our church. Denise hosted both events and we were impressed with the way she represented the Village - informative, professional and not "pushy". After our second visit we expressed interest in learning more about the facility. Within a week, Denise followed up with a phone call and we set up an appointment to discuss particulars.When we signed up, Denise was very thorough going through the admission process - and tutorial as she was also coaching Christine. Since moving in, Denise continues to show her passion for D.V. by inviting us to host a housewarming event with prospective residents.We are open to recommending D.V. largely because of the professionalism shown by staff (Denise in particular) and friendliness of other residents.

First of all… 5 stars to Zilma Chinkoyo at Discovery Village Assisted Living. Our journey started with her help.At Discovery, we loved the concept of the whole layout of the building and easy access to all the activities and dining area…this is what attracted us to Discovery. Other places have the apartments not attached to the dinning, club house or activity center. My mom would never have been able to walk outside to get to a dining room in the heat or on rainy days.But at Discovery, all is under one roof, you just go down an elevator and down the hall to all activities and dining without having to go outside.As for the attention from staff, they were there always attentive at a reasonable time. No complaints there. Activities, rides to Publix, etc again, no complaints!! They also have Doctors and nurses on staff.Everything that was discussed during our tour and signing up all came true. I have never been more grateful to have met the one person who really made a difference and made our decision easy and that was Zilma ChinkoyoWithout her guidance I would not have been able to make all the decisions I had to make. She was a great listener which allowed her to help me each step of the way with my mother. I owe so much to her. She makes herself present especially during difficult times.Thank you Discovery Village and staff. You will forever be in my heart and with this great experience, you will have a second generation (me) as full time resident one day….I know that is your goal, and if it isn’t, it should be, I’m there. I only pray that I can convince family and friends to also consider Discovery Village. Love you all…xoxoxoxoxoxoxo

My sister-in-law recently moved from Discovery to be closer to relatives in VA. However, her stay at Discovery was very pleasant, she made a lot of friends and the staff, especially Zilma Chinkoyo, were most helpful to her and the family back home when the need presented itself. I would highly recommend Discovery Village.

We are in the process of moving into Discovery Village of Naples. So far it has been an excellent experience. Denise met with us and showed us all the various options that Discovery Village has to offer. From memory care to assisted living to independent living.We opted for independent living, and have enjoyed several meals there plus had the pleasure of meeting many of the residents.Discovery Village has Resort style amenities, from a beautiful swimming pool to a movie theater. We are pleased with the amount of activities going on. Something for everyone every day.We chose a floor plan that has two bedrooms and a den. Perfect for us!!

What a beautiful place! Very welcoming, beautifully decorated and maintained. Not only is Discovery Village at Naples a gorgeous resort style facility, the staff is professional and caring too, especially Denise! She made us feel very comfortable right from the start. She answered every question without hesitation. Her knowledge, enthusiasm, positive attitude and caring heart shined through. Our experience with Denise made our decision of moving our 92 year old mother effortless. Discovery Village offers so much to its residents. The activities, classes, trips, and social life will enhance anyone’s life. Thank you Denise for making this transition process so easy. What a relief!

Denise was upbeat, honest and professional. A pleasure to speak with. The residents were all happy which is so important when looking to settle my mom in to her next stage of life. The facilities were clean and beautifully decorated. Lots of activities-dining looked wonderful. Grounds were immaculate and had a resort style vibe complete with pool-gym-theatre etc.

My experience at Discovery Village was eye opening. The facility is beautiful. The dining rooms, the pool, the ice cream and coffee area, and the individual rooms were all spotless and inviting. The staff that I met were all so friendly and helpful. You need to see it for yourself.

I have liked Discovery Village for many years. Starting at the Forum, and then Naples Discovery three years ago. When I walked into Discovery Village in Naples this morning, I did not realize I would walk out a resident. Your facility is above anything else I have visited, from the amenities to the cost. I signed up with Denise McGowan for a two-bedroom apartment.Denise was as professional as any agent with whom I have ever interacted. Her very high level of professionalism is what helped me make my decision. She explained all costs, amenities, and other aspects of Discovery Village with clarity and in a most knowledgeable way. Little wonder I signed for the apartment on the spot! Even though I felt, from the moment I walked into the Independent Living building, that this was the best I had seen, it was Denise's patience, understanding and invaluable assistance sealed the deal. After visiting several independent living communities, the moment I walked into Discovery and met with Denise, I knew I had found the perfect home for my mother. The building is beautiful, (and safe), the amenities are outstanding, the staff always ready to help. Mom felt at home the minute she moved in. I highly recommend Discovery to anyone looking for a senior living community.

My parents moved into DV Independent living apartments and they love it! The staff did such an awesome job taking care of the residents during the recent hurricane Ian. They voluntarily moved the furniture off of there patio and made sure the residents had food everyday and they never lost power. My parents felt very safe throughout the storm. It is a great place with good activities.

I came to Discovery Village Assisted Living in May of 2020, I do feel that administration listens to our concerns and I feel fortunate to have staff that have a serious commitment to service excellence and demonstratea caring attitude towards the residents. We have an active celebrations andrecreations department bringing internal and external opportunities. We are fortunate to have a fine chef who is innovative and provides us with a menu that is appetizing and healthy. All of the ancillary staff, drivers, concierges, nurses, caregivers, housekeepers, and the management departments are all committed to a high level of care in meeting residents needs.

After 2 full days of checking out Naples-area assisted living communities, my sisters & I chose Discovery Village for our mother. Staff was very friendly, attentive; the facility open, modern, & clean. The selection of meal choices was very good, as were activities to help newer residents make & keep friends. Discovery took what could have been a very stressful situation for my mother and our family and made us all feel like we were home. After looking at properties in the area we found Discovery and had the pleasure of working with Denise and by the end of our visit we knew it was right but even more importantly Mom said she felt like she was with people from her home town! Everyone we met had a smile on and were so welcoming to my mother inviting her to come and join the community. Denise and her staff are obviously doing a great job!
