Chasity Stapleton-LaFluer brings more than ten years of senior living experience to her role with Discovery Village At Stuart. She began her career in mortgage lending, but also volunteered at a senior living community planning activities for the residents – that is where she found her true calling. Later in her career to fulfill her passion for serving seniors, she worked as a Business Office Manager and eventually Executive Director at a senior living community. She is very excited about the opportunity to serve the wonderful community of Discovery Village At Stuart. Memory Care Director

Crystal is committed to helping seniors live healthy and fulfilling lives. She is passionate about serving seniors and building a community of personalized care, where residents thrive socially, physically, and emotionally.

Crystal is a well-known resource in the community, forging relationships with primary care doctors, neurologist, and other professionals. She is an accomplished speaker and educator. She has created and facilitated numerous support groups, caregiver, family, and staff education programs, workshops, and impressive fundraising events.

Crystal has been serving seniors for over 13 years. She started her career providing care navigation to low income, underserved seniors. It was in this capacity that she adopted her life motto, a quote by Maya Angelo. “People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”

Crystal was born and raised in Florida. She obtained her Bachelor of Psychology from the University of Florida. Crystal has three children and enjoys camping, reading, and making YouTube fishing videos with her husband.
Crystal is excited to continue her journey with the Discovery Village at Stuart team in this capacity. She is looking forward to serving our residents, their families, and fellow team members!

RoxAnn Rogers

Director of Health & Wellness

RoxAnn’s grandparents were a big influence in her life which is why she has such a passion for working with seniors. She started her career as a CNA and then worked as a floor nurse in Assisted Living before becoming a Health and Wellness Director. She also worked in skilled rehabilitation for many years. Previously, RoxAnn was the Health and Wellness Director at Brookdale and then became the Executive Director. RoxAnn is originally from Ohio. She and her husband have five children and they enjoy spending time outdoors. RoxAnn is to the clinical side of senior living where her passion has always remained.

Cathy Weber

Director of Celebrations

Cathy Weber began her career working with seniors at The Council on Aging of Martin County in 1999. Throughout her years in the non profit sector, she managed the Meals on Wheels Program, was a Case Manager providing care for low income, underserved seniors and coordinated The Integrated Memory Enhancement Program.

Cathy came to Discovery Village in June 2021 as Activity Coordinator, and in November 2021 transitioned to Activities Director. Cathy completed The International Council on Active Aging (ICAA) Foundation for Wellness Certificate Course.

Cathy spends time training her two German Shepherd Dogs. Along with her husband (and dogs!) she enjoys hiking, camping, boating and paddle boarding. Together they have seven grandchildren. She also loves reading, planning and journaling.

Culinary Director

Sue comes to us following a 20-year career as an Executive Chef on privately owned yachts. She has been a chef at the finest hotels as well, to include the Marriot in London and the Hilton Ft. Lauderdale. She is also a Veteran, serving 7 years in the Navy!
