Michael J. Dorazio

Executive Director

Executive Director, Michael J. Dorazio, is a 12-year senior living professional and Texas-Certified Assisted Living Director. He is responsible for administrative and operational functions throughout our campus, including its Independent Living neighborhood and the Assisted Living/Memory Care community which together encompass Discovery Village At Dominion. Michael earned a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management from Webster University, and prior to that, he received a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Education with a Business minor from Wayland Baptist University. Before joining Discovery Village At Dominion, Michael held multiple roles including Director of Operations, Executive Director, and most recently, Operations Specialist, a role in which he supported a portfolio of 12 senior living communities across two regions. He is married to his beautiful wife, Sherene, and the couple have two, small children.

Casey Colón

Director of Health & Wellness

Director of Wellness, Casey Colón, serves the residents of Discovery Village with a special passion for enriching the lives of seniors. She brings to her role 12 years of nursing experience, including 5 years as a Director of Nursing. A natural-born caregiver, Casey is a mother of three, young boys (Landyn, Reiss and Quin) and cherishes family time and the outdoors. She also enjoys crafting and interior decorating, in addition to going on mini getaways in and around our native Texas with her fiancé, Ted.

Christina Foley

Director of Celebrations

Director of Celebrations, Christina Foley, is a 10-year senior living and care professional. She began her tenure with Discovery Village in 2019, working as a Concierge. In her current role, Christina enriches the lives of resident seniors, designing memorable social and recreational experiences for our residents on a daily basis. Christina is a proud San Antonio native and mother of two, adult children. She’s also a grandmother of two, little girls who she lovingly calls her “Grandbeauties.”

Ron Huerta

Director of Facility Operations

Director of Facility Operations, Ron Huerta, manages all ongoing maintenance both inside and outside the residences and common areas of our community. In this role, he leads a team of specialists with a commitment to excellence in both quality and service.

A proud native of San Antonio, Texas, in Ron’s spare time, he and his wife love to travel the Texas Coastline and do some fishing, other interests include gardening, DIY projects, and the Discovery Channel.

Leann Cordes

Business Office Manager

Business Office Manager, LeAnn Cordes, spent 20 years in multi-family community management before joining Discovery Village in May 2019. In her current role, she works on behalf of both our residents and team members, as well as outside vendors that serve our community. Accuracy, efficiency, and a commitment to customer service are foundational values upon which LeAnn conducts community business. Proudly born and raised in San Antonio, LeAnn still resides here today alongside her husband of 20 years. The couple has three children and six pets.

Athelia Stalnaker

Director of Culinary Services

Director of Culinary Services, Althelia Stalnaker, began cooking professionally when she was 19 years old. It was her first job, and she remains as passionate and dedicated to providing memorable meals and dining experiences today as she was back then.

Althelia has now specialized in senior dining for more than 15 years, and each day applies her wealth of experience and commitment to culinary excellence for the delight of our residents. She satisfies both minds and bodies with thoughtfully prepared and diverse meals using fresh, local ingredients.

Rick Herbert

Senior Lifestyle Coordinator

Senior Lifestyle Coordinator Rick Herbert is an experienced senior living professional who works in concert with current and prospective residents to help them make beautiful homes and satisfying lifestyles in our community.

A proud armed forces veteran, Rick served our nation for 20 years in the US Army, and to this day enjoys working with and on behalf of fellow veterans here in the San Antonio area.

Susan Warriner

Director of Celebrations

Director of Celebrations Susan Warriner has more than 10 years of experience in the senior living field. Susan enjoys assisting senior residents to feel sincerely cared for and appreciated.

Prior to joining our team, Susan devoted 12 years in Civil Service while working with the Air Force along with 8 years in the private aircraft industry. She describes herself as readily available to both residents and fellow team members.

Deepesh Verma

Culinary Director

Culinary Director Deepesh Verma brings to our community more than two decades of experience leading culinary and dining service teams. He enjoys providing his culinary students with a true purpose and excitement for cooking. Deepesh also likes supporting the aspirations of others, as well as fostering creativity and achievements.

Tiffney Dunning

Independent Living Manager

Independent Living Manager Tiffney Dunning began her career working as an LPN in Utah before getting started in the senior living industry as a concierge. She has since held various leadership positions including Business Director and Assistant Executive Director.

In her current role, Tiffney oversees day-to-day operations of our community’s Independent Living neighborhood, working closely with management and operations to serve the needs and best interests of residents and team members alike.
